The Wolven, Kû in their language, have existed for many thousands of years. Created by accident when a pregnent woman contracts lycanthropsy or coincidence when a werewolf gives birth to the child of an elf. The result from a small number of these happenings was a race of natural werewolves who could change at a whim and who did not suffer the rage of their parents. Sadly a great number of these oddities were killed early on by their parents, still others survived and were drawn together. For a thousand years the Kû roamed the world, lost and without homes, neither beast nor men. Eventually the Kû found a home on Narrana, in the northwest and began forming a civilization along side the Wood Elves who also lived in the area. For many long generations their arrangment lasted, an alliance was formed which presisted into through the Dragon war.
War raged upon the distant continent of Vishal, vast armies of men moved against the gods land in an attempt to do who knows what. The Wolven with their Elven allies traveled across the sea to defend Vishal. The combined army landed upon the eastern shore of Vishal and traveled inward, close to the Gods Wall, barely ahead of the armies gathering upon the coast. The Kû and Elves battled against the armies for nearly many years, fighting a loosing battle, until the dragons awoke and began attacking the interlopers. Within a short time, the champions had succeeded in their mission, and the dragons had reduced the invading armies to a few stragglers.
In the years following the war, word came from Narrana, then survivors, the Risian demons’s had attacked their homeland with allies of Braxxus and all had been lost, those who survived made their way to Vishal. The Elves and Wolven decided that they had had enough war and chose to settle in Vishal, in the land which they defended.
The Giant War:
As many others, the Giant war took it’s toll upon the Wolven, who faught in defense of both their land, and their elven brothers. Alongside the Elves, both Wood and High, and the Elmerians, the Wolven once again protected Vishal.
With their numbers diminished by the Giant war, the Wolven have continued as always, rebuilding their modest city-state and trying to continue their way of life.
