Cosmology Plane Shift special rule: Plane shift may be used to travel from one plane to another, however, the origion and destination planes must be within one step of eachother. Example, using plane shift from the prime you may reach Arb, Perg, Shadow, Astral or the first of the planes of Ascension or Decension. To reach the uper levels of the planes of Ascent or Decent, you may use plane shift from a lower to reach a higher or higher to a lower. New Spell: Greater Plane shift (Divine +2) – This is a higher level variant of the standard plane shift which becomes available to those who have access to the Plane shift spell two spell levels later. With this spell, you may Acend or Decend as many layers as you wish, however, you may not begin a shift from a plane of Ascension and travel to a plane of Decension in the same casting. Similarly, you may not go from a plane of Decent to Acent in a single casting, you may travel first to the Prime, Arb, Perg, Shadow or Astral before using a second casting to reach your destination.Primary Plane: The world as we know it, where you are born, live and die.
Arbitory: Plane of Magic amd Fae. Arbitory appears as a reflextion of the natural world, the only cities and structures are those which have been built upon the plane itself. Arbitory is often used as a transit between points in the primary plane or to travel to the planes of assention and dissension. Arbitory is also the home to the servents of the elemental gods and, some suspect, the elemental gods themselves.
Special Rules: Teleportation Magic is enhanced on Arbitory, all teleportation ranges are doubled when used on Arbitory. Purgatory: Realm of Souls and Shadow, destination of the recently departed. Purgatory appears as a dark reflexion of the world as it was, trailing the real world by a few hundred years. Souls come here before they are judged by Morvinos and passed to the planes of Ascension or Dissension.
Planes of Ascension
1st – Brana: Destination for the majority of good aligned souls, home of lesser good outsiders. Brana appears as a beautiful yet simplistic version of the world. The denizens of Brana are the souls of goodly peoples. Most have no recolection of their mortal lives and spend their time in Brana in comfort. Some find comfort in congragating in large cities or small towns mimicing their mortal existance without fear of the perils which may have plagued them in life. Others similarly find that spending their time farming, fishing, or performing similar activities is comfort. Because of this oddity of the mortal psyche, a person of good or neutral alignment traveling to Brana will find inns, taverns, smiths and all the noraml ammenities of their mortal world.
